Herndon's Automotive is the most reputable and honest auto repair shop that I have ever experienced. They have serviced two previously owned Mercedes for me. Now that I have purchased a different make of vehicle, I am really missing the Herdons. I almost want to buy another Mercedes just so they can service my car. Last month, I was driving north back to my home state with a newly purchased ML350. When I got to Jacksonville, the "check engine" light suddenly came on. As I was still many hundreds of miles away from my destination, I was in a semi-panic about what to do, since I knew no one in the area. Checking my iPad for an independent Mercedes Specialist, I found Herndon's. I called and explained my tale of woe. They could not have been nicer, and even though they were booked, they squeezed me in for that morning. Mr Herndon himself took a look under the hood and within less than 10 minutes fixed the problem. He is a genius and a gentleman, and I cannot say enough good about him, Kriss and the whole organization. I want them to know that the traveler from Kansas will be forever grateful for their help that morning. If I lived in the Jacksonville area, I know where I would take my Mercedes!

They are the most thorough of any and all repair services. They will tell you what is wrong and what way(s) to fix the problem. The mechanics will inform you if it is an immediate concern or if it can wait for a more convenient time. They are considerate and accommodating to their customers.
